Ludlow Independent Schools
Ludlow Independent Schools
Ludlow Indpendent Schools consists of Ludlow High School and Ludlow Elementary School. George Washington Memorial High School is located on Elm street in Ludlow, Kentucky. It was built in 1932 at a cost of $164,000. When the school first opened, there were only 426 students K-12. Eventually, the name was shortened to Ludlow High School. Currently there are about 450 students (7th-12th grades) with a graduating class of 81. We offer courses leading to the Commonwealth Diploma and give students the opportunity to become involved in many extracurricular activities. We are constantly remodeling our school to make it a safe environment and an even better place. Our students know that school is a place to open your mind to new and exciting opportunities. Our mission is to provide a safe, challenging, and supportive environment where all students can learn, grow, and become contributing members of society.
